There is a missreading by transcribers of records in LaRue Co., KY. Smith FOSTER is often turned around to read Foster Smith. I know his last name was FOSTER. He married Mary MILLER Oct. 4, 1873 in LaRue Co. Mary MILLER was my grandmother's sister. Their uncle, Joseph Oscar WALTERS married Smith FOSTER's sister, Annie FOSTER on Nov. 23, 1874. I have a small amount more on this family if you would like to have it.
