James H. "Jim" Foshee

BLANCHARD, LA - Jim was born April 26, 1953 in Vivian, LA to Alonzo and Clara Foshee. He passed away at home Tuesday, October 20, 2009, with his family by his side. Services honoring his life will be noon Friday, October 23, 2009, at Rose-Neath Marshall Street Chapel. Officiating will be Steve Riall. Interment will follow in the Old Blanchard Cemetery, Blanchard, LA. Visitation will be 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday evening at the funeral home.

Jim was employed by Automobile Recovery Bureau, Inc. of Louisiana. He was a Licensed Recovery Agent through the state of Louisiana and a certified Finance Adjuster since 1999. Jim was a member of the Blanchard Lodge #447 and Blanchard O.E.S. #236. He was Auxiliary Deputy for the Caddo Parish Sheriff Department, and former Justice of Peace for Ward 3 Blanchard District.

His parents, and sister, Marilyn Ann, preceded Jim in death. Survivors are his wife of 34 years, Candy Rambin Foshee; sons, Sam Foshee and wife, Brandy, and children, Kaden and Karley, Jared Foshee and Robin, and children, Skylar, Luke, Noah and Alyssa and Mark Foshee and Jennifer; sister, Carolyn (Carol) Whitten; sister-in-law, Kathy Hayes; brother-in-law, Jimmy Rambin; nieces, Stacey Hayes and her daughter, Jessica; nephews, Greg Whitten, Paul Whitten and daughter, Janie, and Greg Rambin; and many other relatives and countless friends.

Pallbearers will be Johnny Byrd, Harlan Beene, Harlan "Trey" Beene, III, Robert Watts, Greg Whitten and Billy Jewell.

Memorials may be made to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 3100 Samford Avenue, Shreveport, LA 71103 or charity of choice. Rose-Neath Funeral Home
