I have seen my own branch of the family spell the name a lot of different ways. I only found them in the 1851 census by doing a first name search. But all of the names, ages etc. matched my family so I knew I had the right people. This census record was also the key to connecting to my Waller ancestors and to the Australian descendants of my Grandpa's uncle, James Waller.
[I read the handwriting as "Foursbury" not "Fausbury".]
