I am searching for information on Susan Elizabeth Fortson. She was born 1807 in Virginia. She married Bazil Davis Freeman in Roane Co. TN, July 31, 1827. Children, William, Emily, John T. James Henry, May or Mary, Susannah, Elizabeth, Stephen, Adaline, Dodson B. and Sarah F. were born in Tennessee. By the census of 1860, they were in Webster Co., MO. They were in Illinois during the Civil War. She may have died there (1861-1865). Buried in an unknown location. B.D. Freeman married again and returned to Missouri after 1865. He died in Webster Co., Missouri, May 06, 1885.
