From the Book "A Family History-LT.Thomas Fortson 1742-1824 and some of his descendants" Chapter 3. It states that the Head and Fortson families were members of the Vann`s Creek Baptist Church at Ruckersville,Elbert Co,Ga. (Ref.History of Elbert County, McIntosh; p.57-67) You might want to try the Vann`s Creek Baptist Church records he might be buried there. Good hunting. Bonnie
