FORTON, Mary & John O’CONNOR.
Mary, born County Limerick, Ireland, c1843. John, born County Wicklow, Ireland c1839
John was a stonemason by trade.
They married in Sydney, Sydney in 1867where their son, my grandfather, (John) was born. They had at least one other child (Mary Ann). My grandfather, moved to Wellington, New Zealand c1897 where he married Edith Wilson. A member of my Australian relatives visited my parents, some time after the 2nd World War. I remember he was in uniform; possibly air force.
I would be pleased to hear from any one who may know anything related to the above family.
