Kathy, you asked today which note I was referring to abt. Cornelius and Columbus, and Alex. If you use the features with this note you can click on my name or your name and see what I am referring too. I was looking for a Columbus who md. my great great great aunt, her name was THOMPSON. The "Closest" match I found is to a Cornelius FORTNER family, living in the McMinn/Polk Co. TN region. He was not the young Cornelius you found for me (left under this topic)...but then I noticed you had a Columbus FORTNER listed under another family. I wondered about that young man. I know I have no dates, so the Columbus I am interested in would have been born abt 1840's and his father therefore 20 or more years prior. Thanks in advance, Debbie
