FORTNER graves found in Mississippi
My family has a line of early Southern PORTERs (VA>SC>MS>LA), and when my brother found a few old graves in the woods near Jackson in Hinds County, Mississippi, for our Landlott PORTER and family, there were also some FORTNER stones.
Since we don't know of any FORTNERs yet, I thought I'd post them here for any appropriate families; they're hard to read, and I may not have figured them out correctly, but as far as I can tell the following information is included:
