Hi, I have a William Riley Fortner (Forkner) born about 1873 who was a son of my ggGrandfather, Thomas Fortner(Forkner). I am still working on info on William Riley, but have found that he ended up in St. Louis, MO and had a couple of sons in that area. William's father, Thomas was the son of Elijah and Martha Fortner, Elijah was the son of Efel Dred/Ethel/Etheldred Fortner from NC via Tennessee. Thomas ended up in Salem, Oregon
