Jackson can first be found in the 1850 Census for Hamilton County TN. He is listed with his Father Henry age 40, Mother Lucinda age 36, siblings James 16,Henry 15, Richard 12, Nancy 10, William 8, George 6, Margret 3, Jackson 1,
He can be found next in 1860 Census for Lawrence Co. Arkansas with father Henry age 39 born in NC, mother Lucinda 44, Henry 22, Richard 18, Nancy 20, William 14, George W 12, Daniel Jackson 10, Jacob 7, Lucinda 5, and Amanda 2. (a couple of childrens ages are inaccurate but definately same family as in TN.)
Jackson can be found next living with the McMinns in Jackson County Arkansas, age 20.
According to Jackson's daughter Jackson was taken prisoner by the Yankees and taken up north where he drove an ammunition wagon and he stated his parents died 12 days apart from disease sometime during The War Between The States. The war and disease decimated this family. The only surviving members that I know of are Henry, Richard and Jackson.
