A biography/family history of George Forsythe is included in "Montana, Its Story and Biography", Vol 3, pages 1169 & 1170. Parents: Andrew C. Forsythe, b. 1839, Oswego, NY, and Jeanette Ingalls, b. 1842, British Isles. Children: Annie (Mrs. Ed Tierney, Toledo, OH), Gertrude (Mrs. Philo Moses, Oakland, CA), George (Montana), Judson (Grand Rapids, MI), Robert (Grand Rapids, MI, d. 1919), Charles (Detroit, MI).
In 1896, George Forsythe married Miss Jeanette Morris, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.W. Morris, early pioneers of Montana. Two children: Morris Irvin and Jeanette, born 1902, lived with her mother in Los Angeles, Ca.
On 16 Sep 1912, George married Miss Victoria Davis, daughter of Mankin and May (Bryant) Davis, residents of Big Timber, MT. Forsythe children: Virginia May, b. 18 Apr 1914; George Irvin, b. 21 Jul 1918.
