I am sure at this late date that you know that this is not your William or Sarah.. This William is my husbands grandfather and he was born in Texas 1877. His wife Sarah Alice Darenda Landrum was also born in Texas. William was a preacher and had two sons that also were. Millard and Willard. Through William they spelled their name without the E. Willards generation changed it and added an E. A school teacher said that without the E was spelling it wrong. This Forsythe family descended from David Forsythe and Margaret McGibbon. David died in Kentucky and Margaret and several of her sons went to Indianna. I donot show her having any son by the name of William. My husbands line came from John, that went to Natchez. John had William Earl, then William David and then Willard, my father-in-law.
