Richard Forsythe, Jr., 1892 obituary, Roslyn, Washington
Posted by: Lynn (ID *****7973) Date: February 02, 2004 at 16:40:27
  of 927

"RICHARD FORSYTHE JR.was 18 years old and was born in Youngstown, Ohio. He had been working in the mines with his father since he was a small boy. He was a birght, sociable and industrious lad, correct as to habits and a recognized favorite with all his playmates."

--This obituary was in a list of those who died in the Number 1 mine explosion in Roslyn, Washington State, on May 10, 1892. It was copied from an original newspaper article. The copier of the paper did not indicate which paper, so I cannot give the issue or paper's name, but it is believed to be from the Roslyn paper. This is NOT my relative, and I know no other information on him.
