I,too, have American Indian ancestors. I often hear people claim their great-grandmother was a Cherokee Indian princess (i.e. daughter of the chief). There is no such designation as "princess" in the Cherokee tribe. That doesn't mean that one doesn't have Indian blood, but it does mean that if the female Indian ancestor was Cherokee, she was not a princess. Notify Administrator about this message?
