I am working on my ancestor Peter Stacy and wife Catherine, former wife of Jonathan Higgs/Hicks who lived in Fayette county in the 1780's. I believe that the land that they lived on abutted Thomas Forsythe, amongst others and was taxed with them in Tyrone twp in 1785 and 1786. In your book, do you see any references to the Stacy, Higgs, Hicks or Wilt families? I am looking for just anything. Peter left for Kentucky and then Indiana - where he died about 1814. Glad to share what I have.
