Your reference to Groton, CT intrigued me, because of my Forsyth ancestors' connection to "Groton", but in Tompkins County, NY. My Gr-gr-grandfather, Robert Forsyth, was enumerated there in the 1840 census with his family. He was b. 1786 in Ireland. I have no other info on him except his son, Wyatt Allen Forsyth, my Gr-grfthr was born in Tompkins County in March 1830.

It a connection possible?
