I am seeking information on three Forsiths/Forsyths in early VA records:
#1 JOHN FORSITH:

#2 JACOB FORSITH:
24 Feb. 1673/4. Will of Edmund CHISMAN, Sr. of New Poquoson, York Co., “weak in body” All estate to my wife Mary CHISMAN, for life. To son Thomas CHISMAN, the mill stones and all the iron works belonging to them, that Mr. Gilbert MEDCALF in consideration of money I had in my hands of his. After his mother’s decease, to my said son all my land at Milford Haven, and the land I formerly lived on to him. I bequeath further the land I purchased of my brother John CHISMAN, being a part of a divident of land of my said brother’s, lying in New Poquoson on York River. The rest of my wife’s estate she is to leave to the children as she thinks fit and she to be sole executrix. Wit: William GREENE, ______ PEIRSON, Jacob FORSITH. Recorded 24 Feb. 1673/4. #3 JAMES FORSITH:
1 Aug 1680. Will of William GILL of New Poquoson Parish, York Co., VA, planter dated 11 August 1680; Proved 24 Aug 1680. To wife (unnamed). To daughter Elinor. John MEDCALF and James FORSITH [Forsyth] to have care of daughter. Wit: Robert EVERETT, Barthowlomew THOMPSON. York Book, 1675-1684. The Name of New Poquoson Parish was changed to Charles about 1680. (Was METCALF (or MEDCALF) GILL, son of William GILL, will 1746-7, Northumberland Co., related to John MEDCALF mentioned in this will?)
