Hi,
My Forsyth are mainly earlier from the Ellon area,however my Alexander Forsyth 1787 and Jane Thompson had a son Robert 1824 and a son Alex 1812 brn in foveran who moved to the Aberdour Mill and Robert married Helen Thompson and they raised their family in Tyrie,Alex Roberts older brother was named in the 1841 census i think as an idiot lollll,The above Alex 1787 was brn ellon to James Forsyth and Elizabeth Watson,they are the 2 i am stuck on,However James had a brother Alex who married and Isabel forsyth and they lived in Ellon as well,where they are from i have no clues as of yet,i have looked a little into your Helen Trail but have made no connection,but Alex and Jane had a daughter Ann who married a John Grant and if you contact a message linked to my cousin Kerryn Taylor she has all the listed details of our Forsyths...thanks anne maree
