Jayne, Margaret was the daughter of Janet Love and Alexander Forsyth who married in St. Ninians, Stirlingshire on 19.2.1813. I found your resource file on the LDS familysearch.org pages last night so a coincidene I have found your entry here. I had just received a gedcom from my friend in Scotland tonight with that family on it. Our Forsyth family are from St. Ninians descended from Clementina Knox and James Forsyth who married in 1786. but there are a lot of intermarriage with the Clackmannan Forsyth families and other families. Janet (Love)Forsyth 45 appeared on the 1841 census of Greenyards St Ninians. Alexander Forsyth, her husband was not there. I have not found the family since but on the 1841c she had Francis 25 Alex 20 , Ann 19, Janet17, David, Hugh, George, John and there was also a Janet Tom? 1 month on the 1841 census. Margaret married Thomas Strang on 10.2.1839 at St. Ninians and was not with her mother on the 1841c. They must have moved to Clackmannan before 1851census. Francis married Clementina Forsyth daughter of Alexander Forsyth and Janet Watchman on 20.2.1842 in St. Ninians. They must have all gone to Clackmannan. Hope there is something for you to add to your data.Heather
