James Forsyth b1859m S.Barner b1864 Pitt
Posted by: Joseph Wesley Bridges Date: April 02, 1999 at 07:17:40

James Forsyth was born 1859 in either Allegheny County or Westmoreland County PA. He married Sarah Barner b 1864 probably in Westmoreland County to John Barner and Catherine Hunter from Scotland. James and Sarah had many children, in fact, five of these children were born as sets of twins, however only one of the pair survived in most of the instances. The children produced from this relationship are ;
Jessie L. b1896 m William G. Waldron
John b1883
Lizzie b1890
Annie b1892
Sarah A. b1892
Martha b1895
Christena b1898
Russell b1902
Richard b1903
Andrew C b1905 (It has been reported that the C is for Carneige, which is a big name in the Pittsburgh area. This group was either somehow related to the Carneige's or were close friends. I haven't got a solid story about that yet.) This information was extracted from an Allegheny County census. Actual birthdates are +/- a year. I have a copy of the census record on file. My lineage tracks through Jessie L and William G. Waldron who resided in or near the Wilmerding , Turtle Creek PA vicinity. I am seeking information on James H. Forsyth, who were his parents? Where did they come from? I know there are still many descendants from his loins residing in Western PA. Thanx Joe Bridges!
