Hello,

I am the great great great grandaughter of a Forsyth buried in the Glencairn Cemetery in Moniave, Dumfriesshire. Mary Forsyth was married to James Mathison. Their son, also James Mathison, married Mary Laidlaw & had several children (William, James, Margaret, Jane) in Glencairn parish, before moving to Glasgow. We know little about our Forsyths, but an upcoming trip to Scotland should answer some more questions.
