Does anyone know anything about 'räckaren' Wilh. Fors/Forss, born in 1703? According to my information, he immigrated from Roslagen, Sweden (possibly from Skebo bruk) to Pohja (Pojo), Finland (possibly to Fiskars or Antskog) around 1740 (possibly in 1734) among the group of blacksmiths or blast furnace workers. He probably has worked in other manufacturing areas of Sweden, too. The family name may have written by the French-way "Force", as well, since it has Vallonian origin from the 17th century.

Any hint of Wilhelm, his activities or his family, brothers, sisters or parents etc., please, do not hesitate to drop a line.

friendly, Petteri
