Does anyone know of an Adam Forshaw born 1800-1810 the son of John a farmer and ?. He has given various birth dates and places on different census dates. eg Rufford, Chorley
Longton.

His first wife is unknown and must have died as in 1837 he is described as a widower when married an Ellen Glover @ M/cr Cathedral. They then had six children - Alice, Adam, William, Ellen, James & Richard.

I think Adam may have had a couple of run ins with the law over larceny probably when family hard up.

I think he died in 1878. I would be grateful for any information as he was my GG Grandfather.
