hi rhonda,
my name is steve forester & I am a decendant of owen
forrister born in north carolina abt 1730.
owen moved to franklin county 1800 from spartanburg s.c.
he died shortly after 1802 & is burried some where in franklin county.
his son ( my5th great) moved the family to the next county
madison. you will find land sale records in danielsville
from about 1810 to 1820.
then thomas moved the family to walton county ga after 1820 .
thomas died in walton county ga about 1837
most of the foresters from my branch ended up in gwinnett
& hall county.
I live in florida now but I was born & raised in gwinnett
here is my lineage
william forrister abt 1670 to 1680 ?
john forrister abt 1700 ?
owen forrister 1730 to 1802
thomas forrister 1755 n.c . to 1837 walton
george w forrister 1790 s. c to 1859 gwinnett
james c forester 1823 walton to 1883 hall county
william john forester 1846 walton to 1911 walton
james william forester 1872 walton to 1943 gwinnett
james spurgeon forester 1899 to 1987 gwinnett
hubert j forester 1926 still living
steve allen forester 1963 ( my self)
