I am looking for information about my ggggrandfather, James Forrester. He was born in 1800 - 1801 in Scotland, came to US, had son James Forrester b. 1843 in St. Clair Co, Ill. James Jr. then moved to PA and married Mary Ellen Penn. Does anyone have information on James Sr. - what part of Scotland he may have come from? I believe his son's mother may have also have been from Scotland. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks - Jennifer Forester
