The ones that left Spartenburg SC to Kingston Tenn in my family were the widow of Marcus Forrester. sons William and Thomas Forrester they both came to Missouri with their family's in 1843. I am from Thomas his son was my G Grandfather, he was killed after that the family name got changed to Forester.

I have often thought Marcus was William Marcus Forrester from Cork Ireland.
