We have a coat of Arms, but there are two or three of them. There are statue's of some Forrester's that were removed from the Forrester Castle when it was torn down. They are in the Hollyrood Castle on one end of the Royal Mile In Edinburgh, Scotland.

They were in Scotland, but some were removed at the time of Mary Queen of Scots. The ones with any large holdings or power anyway, especially in the Church. There were no Forrester's with the double rr in Ireland until the 1500s. My grandfather even said we were Scots-Irish and that we were from the County of Cork. Are colors are Red and Sable.

That why I wonder about William Forrester that joined George the 4th Army and came to America in 1776 and jumped ship. My grandfather said he was always told he was a stow-away and landed in some Southern Port.

The begining of The Forrester name was from Balwin the 5th, But thats another story.
