i would like to talk with other decendents of nathan bedford forrest when my grandfather eugene showed me nathan bedfords picture and told me he was the leader of the kkk i thought he was a racist bigut but i was sadly mistakin now that i reshearched who he was im glad i did he is a real american hero not only was he a great warrior but he was also a decent person it saddens me that there is a negitive perception of him but i am damned proud to be his great great great grandchild i wish he was alive today he would be someone i could look up to
