I've been sifting through my heritage, and found a line of Forneys going through my mother's side. My line looks like this, starting from most recent:
Susanna Forney - John Daniel Forney - Christian George Forney - Marx Oberle Forney - Johann Adam Forney (Beginning of American Line) - Christian Forney (First in Germany of my line) - Adam Fahrni - Hans Farhni - Michel Fahrni (1565-1611)
Does anyone else note a change in the spelling? Also, does anyone have any information on Forneys/Fahrnis past Michel? Thanks.
