I descend from George Marker (6th great-grandfather) of Frederick County, Maryland through his son Daniel Marker and wife Christina Beckenbaugh (my 5th greath-grandparents).
My fourth great-grandparents are George and Mary Ann Moats Marker through their son Daniel and his wife Lucinda Nine Marker. My great-great-grandparents were Francis Marion and Margaret "Maggie" Bever Marker through their daughter Mary Leticia Marker who married Harvey Anthony Smith.
I don't think we have an Eli Marker from Daniel Marker on.
Maybe you descend from Daniel's brother George who settled in Montgomery County, Ohio. I think his wife was Margaret Storm.
