Yes, Emma Sansom (married Christopher Johnson) was born in Walton Co., Ga. and her parents were Micajah Sansom, Jr. and Lamila Vann Sansom (md. in 1818 6 Nov. in Jasper Co., Ga.). Elizabeth Sansom who md. Daniel Malone (my husband's ancestors) was a sister of Micajah, Jr. and Emma her niece.
I have much, much documentation of these lines. Emma died in Gilmer, Upshur Co., Tx. where she has descendants. She is buried in Little Mound Baptist Church, Upshur Co., Tx. Emma's father, Micajah Sansom, Jr. is buried in the highway medium of the road which runs in front of Emma Sansom High School in Gadsden, Ala. and you can see the HS from his monument. It is surrounded by chain link fence, Meaghan Blvd. I believe. Many of Emma's family lived in this area-brothers and sisters, some of their descendants still live in this area of Gadsden, Ala.
