I am looking for any information pertaining to Sam Furman or Forman. I found some historical records of him being Sam Furman, on his grave it says Sam Forman in Montefiore Cemetery in Queens, NY, and our family name is now Forman. I was also told he went by the names Saul or Israel was his given name. He is from Russia, and served in the Russian army, there are rumors he went AWOL from there. He married a Minnie Sapire/Shapiro and had 2 children Joseph and Nathan. He lived in NY and was a baker. If anyone knows any information on anyone in this lineage I would really appreciate it, I am at a standstill because of the name changes.
