John appears to be the son of John Forman, born 1787 in Swaby, and Ann (Waller),born abt 1783 in Panton. They were married in Withern, 1809.
John Jnr. was christened in Croft in 1816. He probably married Ann Bagley in Burgh, 1835. They had two children, Mary Ann, born 1835 in Wainfleet, and Hannah, born 1837 in Croft. Both children died in the year of their birth.
I donít know what happened to Ann (Bagley), but in the 1841 census, John is with his parents in Thorpe and no sign of Ann.
In the churchyard of the parish church of Thorpe St Peter, there is a memorial cross for this Forman family. On it, Johnís death is given as 1865 in Canada.
