Terri

I was looking for information on Formans when
I came across your original entry. As I was going down through the list of names I started seeing names that I recognized from research I have done on my families--both paternal and maternal. When I got to the end of the list there was the notice on the correction for the update. I am from Preston County and I remember a couple of churches that had the name Union in them. It is probably one of the churches in the northern section of the county. I'll get in touch with my parents and try to find out exactly which one it might be. The folks at the Preston County Genealogical Society would probably be tickled to know that you have this book.

Izora Beerlower is probably Beerbower and we have lots of Beeghlys in the area but no Peeghlys that I know of.

If you need information from Preston County, I would be glad to help you out. My families have been in the area since the late 1700-early 1800s. I now live in Berkeley County but I keep in touch and I do get back as often as I can.
