Nicolas Forget, dit Despatis, était le fils de Paul Forget et de Nicole Chevalier, de la paroisse Notre-Dame d’Alançon, en Normandie.
Le 6 février 1653, Nicolas Forget dit Despatis se mariait avec Madeleine Martin qui était âgée d’environ 13 ans. Elle était la fille d’Abraham martin et de Marguerite Langlois.
