Susie Etta Forester was born in Iowa. My mother's name is Ivy Cleo Groves Wheeler. Her father was Alvin Theodore Groves. My mother's birthday is February 4, 1919. Mom was born in Des Moines, Iowa. Her birth certificate indicates that she was the third child born to Susie. I know that Mom had a 1/2 sister that was 7 years older (Gayle)(I believe that Gayle's father was a Trumbul) and we believe that there was one daughter older than Gayle; her name I believe was Opal but I don't know what happened to her. I believe that Susie's parents were Lawrence Forster and Nancy Nutt. I believe that Susie had one or two brothers and I am not sure of how mamy 1/2 siblings she had as her mother apparently dies when she was four and her father died when she was twelve.
