Hi, I'm looking for info on the following people who were in Gibson County, TN during the period of 1820 - 1850. There was a Josiah Baker who was married to Mary J. Forester in 1834 in Gibson County. There was Samuel Baker who was married to Anne Forrester in 1828. I found one website where a person had her listed as Elizabeth Annie Forrester, but that's all I've found. I am descended from Josiah Baker and Mary J. Forester. I suspect that there may be a connection between him and Samuel Baker, maybe a brother or something. Also, it's possible if they were brothers that their father may have been named Samuel also. That is pretty much guess work at this point, but I'm doing my digging. I do know that Josiah Baker was born in Kentucky, but don't know when he would have come to Tennessee. I'm not sure what the relationship might be between Anne Forrester and Mary J. Forester, but figure there's a good chance they were related. I've found some info on Forresters in Gibson County, but can't find anything on Mary J. other than the marriage record. If anyone can shed some light on any of these people or their relationships, I'd certainly appreciate the help. I'm at a brick wall on both the Forrester and Baker lines in Gibson County. Thanks, Randall Baker Notify Administrator about this message?
