We have Prudence Forester supposedly from Virgina who married a Charles Brook before 1835. They lived in Fairbury, Livingston County, IL in 1836 then moved to Vinton, Benton County, IA. It is believed that they had two boys and four girls, the first being Melissa Marion, b. 1836. They may also have had Francis and Grace S. They lived in Mt. Auburn, just outside Vinton. Would like to make a family connection.
