John Brown Forester is my ggrandfather also. I descend from his first born, Robert. I have a copy of the marriage certificate of John Brown Forester and Lucinda R. Johnston. They were married in Lucinda's mother's house in Limestone County, AL on 10 March 1862. The following information on Lucinda's mother is based on Federal Census records: 1860FC in Limestone County, AL with son Robert and daughter Lucinda R. 1870FC in Limestone County, AL with son Robert, his wife Lucy and his son, Albert. In 1870 she still had a farm worth $5,000 and son Robert & family had moved in. Both census records would have her born in GA about 1800.

I will communicate further via e-mail.
