Dear Denis, Thanks for your latest e-mail regarding my initial inquiry. In my research of my Forest ancestry, my maternal grandmother being a Forest, I originally thought I was a descendent from Michel, Rene, Francois, Jean-Baptiste, Joseph, to Nazaire Forest (1820-70) who was my great-great-grandfather. But the more I researched, I no longer believe that Nazaire was the son of Joseph born in Connecticut in 1765 and died in 1840 in Quebec who married Francoise-Jeanne Theriault because she would have been over 50 years of age at the time of Nazaire's birth. But the son of another Joseph Forest born in 1767 and died in 1832 who married to Marie St-Jean dite Laperche-Coitou (1776-1846). I am not able to find the parents of Joseph Forest and Marie St-Jean. Do you have any information on this inquiry? This couple had 5 children Sophie 1808-51, Charles 1813-65, Elisabeth 1815-70, Joseph 1817-65, and my great-great-grandfather Louis-Nazaire (Norbert) born December 11, 1820 St-Paul-de-Joliette, PQ and died on August 3, 1870 Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier, PQ who married on November 14, 1843 Ste-Genevieve-de-Berthier, PQ to Marie-Adelaide Gamache (Lamarche)(1821-72). Good Luck! A cousin, Roger Notify Administrator about this message?
