Therre are several deeds in a book I have on Pasquotankd Co. around 1718, but none give the name as John, just Cornelius.I will see if I have anything that would help you in my other books.I was interested in knowing if he had any relatives who married into the Rhodes family. My ancestor Cornelius Rhodes was born in Pasquotank (Camden) Co. in 1758.I have never been able to find his parents. It seems they both might have lived in the Joys Fork area of what is now Camden County. There were Rhodes there at the time and Cornelius bought land from a Joy.
