Our Fordes are descended from Gideon Forde / fforde / English immigrant in 1651, who had 18th century Ford (no e) descendents - possibly including Henry - and then reverted to Forde as the spelling - started in the Dunmanway area of Co. Cork, spread out to Cloyne and elsewhere; we have lots of information on Cork Fordes and would love to share. Loads of Williams, too.
