Jill,
Just been reading your thread regarding the FORDE's from the North, my FORDE's come from Glasgow, but my GGGfather appears to be from Ireland, but I don't know from where.
His name was John FORDE (b~1856) his fathers name was David FORDE and his mothers name was Elizabeth STURGEON.
Any help would be great.
