Seaforde is a town in Co.Down near Newcastle, many Fordes were settled in the immediate area. The Fordes were landowners in Co. Down for two centuries.

A Matthew Forde purchased the Ardglass Estate from Thomas Cromwell in 1636 for 8,000 pounds. This estate is now a golf course and is located near Seaforde, on the east coast in NI.

Seaforde could also be the family estate home?
