Hi Cheryl;
I recently made connection to your Blanche Ford. She was the youngest of 5? children to Elhanen W. Ford Jr. and Clara Cotton. Elhanen & Clara had 3 known daughters Bertha Mae, Minnie Estella who married a Morse and Blanche. There's some indications that the other 2 children were boys, but I haven't found any supporting records.
Accoring to 1920 & 1930 censuses Blanche and David had a daughter.
Her father's family origins are from Oxford Co., namely Sumner & Rumford but the family lived all around the region. Her line is as follows:
Elhanen W. Ford Jr. & Clara Cotten
Elhanen Ford Sr. & Emily Colburn [FindaGrave memorials #25507480 & #25507388 respectively]
Seth Ford & Sally Nason
Charles Ford (Foord) & Polly Bisbee (generation that moved from Mass. to Maine. Also Charles was a Rev. War Vet.)
Seth Foord & Margaret Josselyn
John Foord & Mary Cushing
Joseph Foord & Lois Stetson
William Foord Jr. & Sarah Dingley
William Foord & Anna Eames?.
The family ties in Mass. are mostly in the towns of Pembroke, Duxbury and Marshfield.
I do have some records I'm willing to share if you want to contact me privately at my posted email address or if you have Ancestry you can keep checking my family tree The Fords from Maine to see whether I've updated to include that info.[Note: I descend from Charles Foord's brother Joshua and haven't updated Charles' side lately].Ryan
