Robert Jackson Ford-- Wake County, NC

Looking for any information on Robert Jackson Ford of Wake County, NC. He lived 1826-1913 and was married to Mary Ann Carpenter in 1849. I believe his father was named Henry, but have no other information on him. It appears that Robert was married 3-4 times and had at least seven children. Can anyone help fill in the gaps here?
