This census records is from HeritgeQuest.
1900 Precinct No. 4, Lamar County, Texas Census - ED 79, Page 29B - Enumerated 14 June:
Charles Brodie, head, born: April 1870, 30, married 5 years, b. Texas, parents b. Alabama, farmer
Ada Brodie, wife, born: Feb 1880, 20, married 5 years, has had 2 children/2 living, b. Alabama, parents b. Alabama
Emma Brodie, daughter, born: Nov 1896, 3, b. Texas
Ora Brodie, daughter, born: May 1899, 1, b. Texas
(My note: Couple probably married about 1895/early 1896.Name of Ada's first daughter Emma is same as Ada's mother's name on her death certificate)
----------------------------
Also, seeming to match Ada's death certificate information, there is a J. M. Ford living in Lamar County, TX on the 1900, 1910 and 1920 census records.Perhaps her father and his second wife? But, of course no way of knowing for sure.
1900 Justice Precinct 4, Lamar County, Texas Census - ED 78, Page 10A - Enumerated 9 June:

---------------------------
On the 1910 and 1920 Lamar County, TX census records, J. M. is listed as James M. Ford.He and his 2nd wife are living in Red River County, TX on the 1930 census. He is 74 years of age.
I couldn't find James M.'s death certificate, but did find what appears to be his 2nd wife's:
