I'm not sure if I connect to your Fords, but there were relatively few Fords in Montgomery County, as most of them were in Chester County.I am looking for the ancestors of Charles Ford.He was born November 18, 1839 in Three Tuns, Upper Dublin Township, Montgomery County, PA.The 1840 Census only listed the names of the head of the house hold, so I don't know which of the Fords in Montgomery County in 1840 were his parents.By 1850 his parents must have died, because 11 year old Charles Ford was living with Israel and Elizabeth Shay.
Charles served in the Civil War with the Union, and is buried at Boehm's Cemetery in Blue Bell, PA with his first wife Lizzy (MaCombs) Ford, who died in 1870, and his second wife Mary (Mumbower) Ford.
Every census which asks for his parents birthplaces shows that his father was born in Pennsylvania and his mother was born in Germany.
There is a Dunkard, or German Baptist cemetery in a churchyard about a mile north of Ambler, and this may be where Charles parents are buried. This is close to Three Tus on the map, and I understand that there is a "Ford" tombstone in the cemetery, but I don't know who to contact to get more information.I live in California.
Do you think Charles may be one of your Fords?
