Hello Francoise
I can send you the lineage of this Georges Forcier later. This grandfather Georges Forcier, who was a policeman, was married to Marguerite Sigouin. They had many children, but only two survived to adulthood. One is Georges Auguste Forcier who lives in Quebec and the other is Marcel Forcier who moved to the States. Georges has a daugher Joanne, who still lives in Quebec and with whom I have been in contact.
This branch of the Forcier tree is actually not my ancestor; I was researching it for Joanne, but I also am a Forcier, and my line goes back to the orginal Guillaume Forcier who marriee Sebastienne Gaultier and their son Pierre who married a "fille du roi" sent from France by King Louis XIV. Does this mean anything to you? I am willing to help you locate your ancestor.
Clara Clark
