A Lead to Father of Noah Force...
Hello all Noah Force (Mary Beamer) family researchers.I would like to throw out the following info to you to who I think may be a candidate for Noah's father.
From an article taken from a New Jersey Book:
"Three brothers came to this country from Germany or England. One went to Philadelphia, another settled near Newark, from whom Re. W. Manning Force descended and a third William settled near Spruce Run, married a Miss Woolever, whose father came from Rhinebeck, Germany.
William had at least one son Thomas born about 1740.Thomas had 10 children, one by the name of Thomas Manning."
Now, I have not been able to find a "Rev W. Manning Force"
but have found a Rev. Manning Force. And his line goes like this.
Rev. Manning Force born 1789...his father is:
William Force born 1752........his father is:
Manning Force born 1730........his father is:
Obadiah Force born?: ?
Note that it is written that Obadiah Force was married to Johannah Manning Force.I presume Manning was her maiden name.Note that the one German brothers grandson was named "Thomas Manning".Noah also named one of his sons William Manning.
Noah had two sons with William as a name:
William Manning and Hamilton William.
Noah's son John Beamer also named a son William.
John Beamers son, Alanson named one of his sons William.
And William Manning named his son William T.
Noah was born in 1765, therefore William Force above, born 1752 would be to young to be the father. But maybe a brother?Manning Force above, born 1730 would have been 35 years old when Noah born. Possible connection here?
1) The book states Rev W. Manning Force.Could the "W" in the write up been a mistake.
2) Are there two Rev. Forces out there?
3) Why would Noah name his son William Manning. A connection to the Manning family?
4)And why so many William's in the family.Could William Force be Noah's brother and he named his son after a brother and his father?
Noah's son Reziah, to my knowledge , did not name any of his children Manning or William. I do not have a listing of children for Noah's other son's, Hamilton, Van Rensalaer(Henry) or Philip.
Rev Manning Force was born Paasaic County N.J.
William Force was born Patterson, Passaic County
Manning Force was born Morristown, Morris County
Please give me your thoughts and feed back on this directly to my e-mail address,[email protected]
Thanks...Tom
